Geddington and Newton Rugby Club was thought up in The Star, Geddington  one Friday evening. We laughed, "what a great idea a local rugby club to play a few games a year would be."

So far we were not wrong!!!!! On Oct 21st 2007 our inaugral game was planned. Beating a Market Harborough side, although a couple of stars did turn out for us (Lenny Newman - Team Manager Northampton Saints) (Neil "The Gorrilla" Etheridge) was a great start for a new club.

We have since travelled to Market Harborough to play a more steeled side which again we won!!! So with the 2008-2009 season approaching the first fixture has been planned. With a 100% record at stake training must begin very soon!!!!!!!

13 Out of the 15 starting line up lived in Geddington, Newton or The Oakley's.

(Not all on time, not shown)
